Founder's Bio
Anand is a clean-tech and renewable energy expert who has spent the last fifteen years bringing various clean technologies in waste-to-energy, battery storage, solar, wind and fuel cells to market through his work as a researcher, consultant and investor. Prior to Spotimyze, Anand led global sustainability and smart city consulting practices at Infosys and Accenture across industries and governments. He also worked with green and blue funds towards sustaining and preserving fragile ecosystems and vulnerable coastal communities by helping with strategies that combat threats from rising sea levels.
A graduate of IIT Madras and Vanderbilt University in Civil, Transportation and Environmental Engineering, and a researcher from Oakridge National Labs and MIT, he has aided in building Boston’s clean tech community as a co-chair of Boston’s TiE cleantech special interest group (SIG) and member of Northeast Clean Energy Council (NECEC). Anand has founded two companies and is on the board of impact-driven entrepreneurship-focused organizations. He is an advisor and mentor to startups from MIT, Cleantech Open and Greentown Labs.
He is now dedicating his energy and efforts via Spotimyze to transform the mobility sector and drive down transportation emissions. Spotimyze Mobility is currently at various stages of engagement with the city of Boston, Somerville and Cambridge on designing a platform to address the need for better curbside management which will enable penetration of new clean mobility companies & services.
